Just wanted to say a huge thanks to all those members that contributed in adding species to the various photography challenges during 2017. It appears to have been a record breaking twelve months and i will, in due course, be putting together a review of all the challenges.

Here's to a record breaking 2018!

How does the photography challenge work, is only one photo' of each bird/species allowed? or can't be uploaded if it is in the species list?

Hi Doxy, all members try and make a "joint" list of birds we have photographed this year.
Check on the species seen so far list, if you have a photo of a bird that`s not on the list put it on the screening thread for Dave to give the OK, then add it to the challenge. It`s not just birds, different lists for different subjects.
Your Pheasant photo is brilliant by the way!!

Hi Doxy.

The photography challenges are separate from the main part of the forum and providing the species is not already on the list then your photo can be screened for inclusion. You are absolutely free to post as many photos as you like on any other part of the forum, in the bird photo zone for example, but we keep the photography challenges separate to see how many species our members can photograph in a year.

Here is the link to all the photo challenges, and if you have any eligible for inclusion, then please feel free to add them to any of the relevant screening threads. Photos are usually screened very quickly. and then they can be added to the relevant challenge.
