Yesterday I was really surprised to see the Goldfinches feeding out of the seed tray, I've only ever seen them on the feeder.
I've been having a bit of a play with some new video software too :giggle:

That's a lovely piece footage Julie and I liked the music that you've put with it too. :clap3:

By the way I've had Goldfinches eating sunflower seeds like that as well.

That's super footage Julie :cool1:

"Mine" only seem to eat from the hanging feeders but at College Lake they take seed from the tables and the ground. I suppose, with the quantity that reside there, they think there's safety in numbers so are a bit more relaxed about feeding.

Great bit of footage Julie, nice to see them on the tray feeder  you can get a full view then instead of a head and tail as they hide behind the hanging feeders

Whilst on holiday in Norfolk we were extremely lucky to spot this beautiful little bird which I had never heard of before!
The footage is a bit shaky in parts mainly down to the wind and being on maximum zoom but hopefully you'll enjoy seeing this stunning bird

And a few photos, Dave got some much clearer shots than me so i'll get him to add those to this thread

What a beautiful little bird, and fantastic footage and photos Julie, the music went brilliant with it. I enjoyed every single second of it. :clap3:

You did very well if you had your camera at maximum zoom Julie, when I do that you'd be lucky to have seen any bird. It's a case of up, down, left, right....oooh! there's the bird, no, it's gone again. :cwl:
